Mark Goldstein

Mark Goldstein is a Six Sigma Master Black whose consulting firm, Goldmark Consultants Inc., has led clients through the creation of Six Sigma deployment plans, developed customized training material, delivered Six Sigma Black Belt and Green Belt training and provided project coaching. Prior to starting his own consulting business in November of 1996, Mark was with GE Company for over 17 years where he held assignments in Production Supervision, Quality Control, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, and Purchasing.  Mark holds a BSIE degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology and an MBA from Bellarmine University. Mark authored “Success Factors for Six Sigma”, published in Six Sigma Forum Magazine November 2001 and coauthored, “Boost Competitiveness Via Six Sigma”, Chemical Engineering Progress, Sept. 1999.

 

Pradeep J. Mehta

Mr. Mehta serves as a senior consultant and a business associate for SAC’s Indian corporate six sigma assignments. PJ retired after thirty years as Vice President of Larsen & Toubro, Ltd., one of India’s engineering majors to continue his career as a consultant. Mr. Mehta’s expertise in logistics, leadership, and management is widely recognized in Indian corporate circles. Pradeep obtained his Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Poona Engineering College.

 

Roberto Tantalean

Roberto Tantalean is currently with Six Sigma and Advanced Controls, Inc. He has served as Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Universidad de Trujillo for eight years. Roberto obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Trujillo, a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Universidad de Cantabria in Spain, a Master’s Degree and a Ph.D. Degree in Chemical Engineering both from the University of Louisville, USA. He has developed and implemented a real-time communication facility for the constrained model predictive controller software [ONLINE], and implemented an Expert System for fault monitoring and abnormal situation management on an industrial-scale steam plant. He has held an internship as process engineer at Talara Refinery, Petro-Perú, the main Peruvian oil company. He has been part of the lecturer team for workshops in the areas of process control in Industan Petroleum Company in India and Six Sigma Training for the Private Universities Council in Kuwait. He is also consultant in the area of information technology for a US-based company.

Vasant B. Waikar

Vasant Waikar is currently Professor of Statistics, Dept. of Mathematics and Statistics, Miami University, Oxford, Ohio 45056. Prof. Waikar hold B. Sc. and M. Sc. in Statistics from Nagpur University and a Ph D in the same field from Florida State University. He has been on the faculty of Statistics at Miami University in since 1968. He has served as a visiting faculty member at the Wright Patterson Air Force and Pune University. Vasant has Published 25 research papers in established journals in the area of two stage estimation, bootstrap methods, and distribution of characteristic roots of random matrices.
A recipient of grants in excess of half million dollars by NSF and NSA, he directs a summer institute for undergraduate math students who are minority or women over the last four years. Prof. Waikar is a Statistical consultant to many companies including General Electric.
