Pradeep J. Mehta

► Mr. Mehta serves as a senior consultant and a business associate for SAC’s Indian corporate six sigma assignments. PJ retired after thirty years as Vice President of Larsen & Toubro, Ltd., one of India’s engineering majors to continue his career as a consultant.

Mr. Mehta’s expertise in logistics, leadership, and management is widely recognized in Indian corporate circles. Pradeep obtained his Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Poona Engineering College.

Vasant B. Waikar

► Vasant Waikar is currently Professor of Statistics, Dept. of Mathematics and Statistics, Miami University, Oxford, Ohio 45056. Prof. Waikar hold B. Sc. and M. Sc. in Statistics from Nagpur University and a Ph D in the same field from Florida State University.

He has been on the faculty of Statistics at Miami University in since 1968. He has served as a visiting faculty member at the Wright Patterson Air Force and Pune University. Vasant has Published 25 research papers in established journals in the area of two stage estimation, bootstrap methods, and distribution of characteristic roots of random matrices.

A recipient of grants in excess of half million dollars by NSF and NSA, he directs a summer institute for undergraduate math students who are minority or women over the last four years. Prof. Waikar is a Statistical consultant to many companies including General Electric.
